I have a pressing need to ask some of my friends were last night. I wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be the Bantam Batman.

" They are the scourge of the summer picnic, but wasps are costing councils thousands of pounds.
Worthing and Adur Councils have seen their pest control department fail to meet their budgets. Both have blamed a drop in wasp numbers, resulting in people not needing their services."
Shades of Sir Humphrey.

Blooming typical, what about growing fresh fruit and veg from stem cells ? - it's far more healthier ...

I may be completely wrong (my understanding of biology is pretty basic) but you couldn't grow fruit/veg from animal stem cells as the cells themselves are totally different. As I understand it animal stem cells can be 'trained' to become any other kind of animal cell, but they cannot become a plant cell.
