Blooming typical, what about growing fresh fruit and veg from stem cells ? - it's far more healthier ...

I may be completely wrong (my understanding of biology is pretty basic) but you couldn't grow fruit/veg from animal stem cells as the cells themselves are totally different. As I understand it animal stem cells can be 'trained' to become any other kind of animal cell, but they cannot become a plant cell.

plus we have these things for growing veg called "seeds"...
see you plant these "seeds" in some dirt and then magical faeries visit and dance on the dirt with the "seeds" in and then they grow
