What news story etc etc
Maria Posted Jul 31, 2012
The news story that I bring here is not fresh, but its consequences are still in my mind and, as access to internet is not always available for me lately, I´ll say it now.
Mario Draghi´s words stopped the wild attacks to Spain last week. Just a few words and the torment/storm ceased. What called my attention is the reaction of the media, it put Draghi under the light of a vir virtus, a respecful virtuous man.
However, for me, it was an action a la Corleone, and media should have made some questions like why now and not before, why the ECB is not central nor for European ordinary people´s interests and needs, but an instrument at the service of some private banks, which btw, have created all this economical hecatombe.
also, another question for me crucial:
is Mario Draghi going to be jugded by crimes against humankind? His decisions and silences are creating much pain and devastation in many countries of Europe.
and even yet, he has not been judged by what he did with the Greek finances as vicepresident of Goldman Sachs.
There are more crimes, they are the colateral damage of this war , the new kind of war that this unbridled version of capitalism has just invented for these times. Bombing is too messy, let´s loit, sack and impoverise those periferic countries. Weapons now are much more refined, media help with the propaganda, and the best of everything is that people are so scared that they agree with the oppresion as an unavoidable fate. But fortunately, not all are brainwashed or are coward.
Mario Draghi, you and those you are serving are criminals. Dont know when justice will beam, but it will. Eso espero con todo mi corazón.

I knew this was a learning forum; 'Mr Britannia' looks like a bankster to me, and they would all look good in black uniforms.
I'm against hanging, but find arguments for it persuasive with regards to banksters.

Would you believe this ... creature ... is an MP?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-19064990
"Falkirk MP Eric Joyce has been fined £600 for removing an electronic tag, in breach of a community order imposed after a bar brawl at Westminster."
People like him represent the very worst of the political classes and highlight how utterly powerless the electorate are at getting rid of them.
He says he's standing down in 3 years but I'd wager if he stood again with a red rosette hung around his miserable neck, he'd win.

MMmmm not really surprised; MPs' seem to be part of a different race and elections are just for show. Where else with only experience driving buses can you be in charge of a large dept or even country.
What surprises me more is how come the Tories keep getting elected, although this lot only got in because of Rupert, Obama, bad teeth and infiltration of the Liberal Democrats by right wing tories.
Tories are tories; they are like a stick of Blackpool rock, snap their heads off and you would see the blue word Tory written inside. They take from the poor to give to themselves, increasing inflation to reduce wages including the minimum wage, increasing insecurity to get you lot working harder and longer for less.
Some don't so much look like they was elected, but born to it, and would not be out of place in smart black uniform. I can't imagine these serving the public, and certainly not those with too little to give.
I don't like any politicians by the way; I campaigned for a Labour politician and found out he was a freemason, good job he didn't win. I've seen union leaders entering a freemason lodge in London, and one labour MP agreed it was reasonable for the employment service to lock me inside a top floor office and then simulate a fire, returning to say oh sorry we forgot all about you.
But it is worse now with on average 32 people a WEEK found fit for work subsequently dying; I suspect that is because they was fit. I wonder how many that is since the Tories came to power.
The only person a politician represents is itself, but tories help themselves by helping the richest; you don't really think they are finding jobs for the sick, who is going to employ anybody that might just die on the job, when there is millions of fit unemployed. The idea is to swell the unemployment numbers to drive down your wages and cut the benefits bill at the same time, giving more for banksters who make big bonuses on apparent losses, but actually offsetting profits against Libor or money laundering in Mexico where gangs cut peoples heads off, to look like a loss.
Ya can't make it up
Good news; London is deserted and we got a gold medal.

Boris Johnson left hanging on zip wire during Olympic event.
"The Mayor of London Boris Johnson was left dangling on a zip wire for several minutes when it stopped working at an Olympic live screen event".

There is something very satisfying about this story, and has the buffoonish Boris written all over it.

The BBC has added video to the Boris zipline link.
When I first looked it was a still photo but now
I can see he is holding Union flags which were
still furled in the stillshot.

Boris shows he's a first-class idiot.
Lee Medcalf, who was at the event, said: "When Boris came down the zip wire, it was very James Bond-esque with him shouting 'Team GB'.
"However, he seemed to lose momentum and was left hanging there like an odd Christmas decoration for about five to 10 minutes.
"He spoke to the crowd, which had gathered beneath him, saying 'this is what it's all about; this is great, this is fantastic".

Neat, if true, and you can't always be sure with this man and his schoolboy friend's japes. Eh, Jennings?
Is this the level of political discourse we're reduced to from now on?
Oh no I didn't
Oh yes you did.
That's the sound of the men working on the chain gang.

I can't believe it; the Tories are non stop; I've just read they only intend to pay full Housing Benefits to those they consider not in underoccupancy.
This is yet another poll tax; my grandad was shot in the head trying to push back nazi's in 1944 so that I could live a reasonable life free from fear; but the Tories plan to kick me out of my home I paid full rent for 20 years before I was disabled, a rent greater than a mortgage plus insurance by the way, just so that it can be overoccupied by foreign or worse Latvian pretend family, the only time there is kids next door is when the landlord visits about once a year.
So the nazi's get in and I've had enough of Tories and lies. They do not support the genuinely sick; I won a court case but I've not seen any support, and Panorama demonstrated their real intentions, because even I have suffered a suggestion from benefits staff how much more beneficial it would have been to society if I had died on the operating table.
The whole Tory mentallity is to take from the poor to give to themselves; they will be claiming credit for the Olympics next, I know Boris would have weed himself if he really got stuck.
Tories are just non stop.

On a more serious note,
Pop Music is Getting Worse - Proof!
http://www.planetrock.com/news/rock-news/official-pop-is-getting-worse/
"Scientists have proven that pop music is too loud and it all sounds the same
Reuters reports that researchers in Spain used a huge archive known as the Million Song Dataset, which breaks down audio and lyrical content into data that can be crunched, to study pop songs from 1955 to 2010.
The report says that a team led by artificial intelligence specialist Joan Serra at the Spanish National Research Council ran music from the last 50 years through some complex algorithms and found that pop songs have become intrinsically louder and more bland in terms of the chords, melodies and types of sound used."

Those last two posts are actually co-related.
The rise of blind insensitive bureaucracies
driven by equally insensitive politicians
is neither cause nor effect of bland culture
but symptomatic of the same general lack of
fresh air and ideas.
History is often cited to demonstrate a cyclical
pattern in the 'progress' of civilisation with
repeating eras of innovation followed by darker
ages of stagnation and oppression.
The trouble with 'cycles' and circular patterns
is that there are no 'perfect circles'. Rather,
they tend to spin out of control and eventually
fly off the handle, or to lose inertia and become
downward spirals. Bloody entropy.
