Seen "Oliver Twist" and it was excellent. I cried (again) for poor caring Nancy.
As we were leaving, there was a queue forming for "Wallis and Gromit" which we joined the back of, and cost me another £8.50, but my son enjoyed it.
There was a trailer for yet another "super hero" film can't recall the title but he's the son of two super-heroes and goes to a school for teaching superheroes.
One to watch out for then

I think the superhero film is called Sky High. It looks similar to Spy Kids.
I'm only tempted to see it because it has Bruce Campbell in it

yeah got to see sky high....it'll probably be cheesy for the kids..but its got to be done... i've heard it likened to the incredibles... so we'll see?
i LOVED the old batman series... so corny.. and the film they made once.. the scene where batman has to dispose of a ticking bomb about to go off.. everywhere he runs to chuck it there are innocent creatures in the way... he couldn't even risk killing the ducklings.. no...... that was class humour

John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!" Posted Oct 27, 2005
The first annual (hopefully) Toronto Tibet Film Festival was a great success. The event was produced by the Canada Tibet Committee and a group of outstanding volunteers, who brought the thing off without a hitch and helped to maintain a wonderful festival atmosphere throughout.
The venue was the beautifully restored Bloor Cinema in the heart of Toronto, Canada, a fine old Art Deco cinema with a big balcony, plush seats and the all-pervasive smell of buttered popcorn, just the sort of place to relax for nine hours, or so, and watch a lot of films about Tibet.
The festival committee selected movies which would take the audience beyond the image of Tibet as a country suffering under a brutal Chinese occupation - which it is, of course - and give people the chance to see aspects of Tibetan culture which they may not have encountered before.
To that end, the film schedule included powerful documentaries, such as 'Satya: A Prayer for the Enemy', in which Tibetan nuns describe their resistence to China's repressive policies and the terrible sacrifices that many of them have had to make; 'Travelers & Magicians', the second wonderful feature film from Bhutanese director Kyentse Norbu; and 'The Yogis of Tibet', a fascinating look into the mysterious lives of some of Tibet's great yogis.

Just watched Blair Witch again.
Not as scary as first time round, when I watched it in full atmosphere; dark, alone in a silent house (well, flat actually!).
Still a terrificly original film, though, executed to perfection!

Hmm, I'm pretty sure you don't mean this, but Man Bites Dog actually fits the description quite well.
But you're referring to a new film, I guess...

saw corpse bride... it was ok enjoyable enough but our one collective complaint is that the songs were so weak that it would have been better not to try the musical approach...
in this matter the nightmare before xmas is far superior because the songs were so good in that...
animation was good the voices very good.. didn't recognise jane horrocks character though...
i'd rate nanny mc phee higher than this.. possibly i expected too much of corpse bride and not enough of nanny mc phee which was a really wonderful film...
i'd like to see saw 2 too...
