True Faith has got to be one of the weirdest videos ever. Manchester, so much to answer for.
I'm going to see Bad Manners on Monday. Have some Special Brew.

1982 and I used to sing it about my crush (who benevolent lowered herself to having a slow dance with me at the school disco).
All the boys at the time fancied the girl in the video.

Thanks Sho!!!
I'm not around as much as I'd like these days so missed this trhead:
Anyhoo:
Here's some of the range of the music I like:
Nick Drake:
An amazing 'folk' guitarist/singer. Died of an overdose of anti-depression pills in 1973 - I could say a wasted life but he has left a small but amazingly beautiful songs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2jxjv0HkwM&feature=related
A cover of 'Time of No reply' this is the Nick Drake song that Jonathan Ross played in memory of Richard Harris the week he died.

AC/DC
Thunderstruck - that riff wow:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvoeeq-BH4w
Back in Black/Highway to Hell...and AC/DC getting a little political wow again...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0Sc2CLqEmk&feature=user
Gordon Giltrap
One of the best acoustic guitarist in the world..,if you live in the UK see him when he tours...he does all the time:
The 'Holiday programme' music:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tx8J5nBRck
And a tune called Appalachian Dreaming:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa0ERAittII&feature=related
Dodo's Dream: Electric guitar with sound built up on top of each other. Amazing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_tXI4GyFZw&feature=related
And some Rammstein to finish with - good solid no nonsense rock:

>>Dodo's Dream
I used to have a Boss RC20 Loop Station, fantastic bit of kit. You can loop up to five minutes on it - Fripptastic! Never got as much out of it as I should have done, gave it to my friend who's much better at all that. Great performances Dots.

I often find myself singing this one to myself. I'm very peculiar like that.

(A fuller understanding of the (rather wonderful) lyrics might be gleaned by watching this first - or indeed after - or never, it's your choice or perhaps not. Tricky thing higher dimensons. Collapse the wave function by clicking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qU1fixMAObI)
