Just three words!

For the benefit of those who didn't hear about it on QI;
E Pluribus Unum ("From the many, the one") was first recorded by Virgil in a recipe for pesto.

So far it seems that three word strap lines are more popular:
'Citius, Altius, Fortius. (Faster, Higher, Stronger)
Coke Adds Life
E Pluribus Unum (From the Many, One)
Every Little Helps.
From Many, One.
God Is Love
I'm Lovin' It.
Just Do It.
Liberty, Equality, Friendship.
Living The Dream.
Make It Happen!
Never Knowingly Undersold
Vorsprung durch technik.
Who Dares Wins
Four word straps:
A Whole New Experience
Try Something Different Today
And Five word straps:
R*d B*ll gives you wings!
See What You Can Do!
And longer ones:
A Mars a Day, Helps You Work Rest And Play.
The Bank That Likes To Say Yes!
And your preferences:
Drink More Beer!
Sex, Drugs, Booze.
Amidst other suggestions!!!
Am I Bovvered?
F Right Off!
Go Ahead, Punk... Make My Day!
God, The Pain.
Make It So.
Stop. Armed Police.
We Don't Care.
You're Not, Are You?
So far, it does seem as though the magic trinity works, or at least is preferred over longer strap lines.
In answer to your question, TC... >>ARe you thinking of branching out into advertising, MMF?<<
I was asked, at a training session a while ago, to design an advertisement for a major Range Cooker company. This led to a long, and heated, discussion regarding strap lines, and I felt here was a good place to test my theory that three word straps work best!
Please continue, as this is not conclusive, by any means, so far!
