People may notice there is now a marquee on my space saying I'm female.

What's the shortest time people have been with someone before they're chucked?

I had a girlfriend foa few days who I dumped without knowing.

Everyone at College knew I was congenitally late and forgetful and I forgot our second date was taking place and arrived to a pub minus (blimey cant remember her name), but hey it was 15 years ago. What I do remeber is that I lost a lot of friends over it because i'd calously dumped hersmiley - huh

That was small fry to G.

She was my one of my best mate's sisters. When we met as teenagers she was already with someone. There was an instant spark, but I let it lie at that and we were close friends for years. When she left the buerk she had been with 10 years later we ended up in a clinch one night that unleashed so many walled up feelings I ended what was a failing relationship immediately. Slowly G. and I got closer and closer, we revealed stuf we had kept from each other about each other for fear of starting a fire we couldnt stop.

We couldnt just come out as lovers, too much other stuff going on for that to happen without their being major fireworks. That strained the relationship and we drifted and she dumped me. The next day we were back together and this happened a couple of times. It hurt but never upset me. She was always and still my friend she could do anything she wanted.

Then she suddenly became quite distant and sometimes nasty. After a year and her ex finally fileing for divorce I thought we would have got more stable. (she wouldnt file against him inspite of abuse because she didnt want their children to know but she didnt want to admit to adultery for fear of more abuse and her children being told she said.) This went in phases for a few months and tried to find oout what it was all about while giving her space to work it oout for herself.

On her birthday seh didnt invite me to the party at her house. I knew about it her brother my mate was going it was only when his wife asked if I wanted a lift (she was pregnant and wouldnt be drinking) that G begrudingly invited me. I said I wouldnt come I knew we were still friends no matter what but if she felt uncomfortable Id understand.

Having a girlfriend who was my best mates sister wasnt all ways easy for me either. We werent "together" at the time and people never knew if we were an item or not or if it was safe to talk infront of whoever about us incase it affected the divorce...

The party went well and she asked me to staysmiley - handcuffs i coould sense a good night in store but declined it didnt feel right.

We still kept in touch and hung out somtimes though not as often and G would occasionally still be distant. Other times we were at it like knives. One night we bumped into each other in a pub she ounced and I didnt resist. the next morning she was really distant to the point of being offensive and practically bundled me out of the door as she was working an extra shift and her boss was coming to pick her up. Her boss arrived as I was leaving and looked shocked to see me there.

G. siter was having a night oout for her birthday and saked if I could come I'd have loved to but had to work away so had so say sorry no can do. Things chnged at the last minute but I made up some overtime at the base went home then on to the pub where everyone was meeting.

It was my turn to be shocked as G was all over her boss. they looked quite the item and my best mate didnt know where to look. his other sister came over and said no one knew before tonight then a few miutes later someone else said it had only been in the open about a fornight. thinking back I knew just when it had started. I was pretty pissed of with G took her out side and told her.

Looking back on some things my mate had said I could see he was trying to prompt me in the right diection for months.

Some of the people I found I had no trust for anymore and lost a lot of "friends", but friends do the difficult things and dont leave you open to that sort of crap.

Im more sorry about losing G as a friend she could have told me but was just too embarrased because her boss was married, but being in the dark I was a source of comfort when he was with wifey. Trust at the level we were at cant be rebuilt and we couldnt bare to be around each other with ouor friendship and trust a shadow of what it once was.

Honesty is the best policy.

Wow...I've decided I don't want to grow up if that's the sort of thing that can happen! That's crappy Blicky. You with someone now?

And the first one...that's typical of teenagers! Always happening smiley - biggrin

Not all people do that sort of stuff and to be honest It was just the way the trust was wrecked that hurt. I wouldnt have happened like that if we had got together as strangers and not frineds.

Im with Lizsmiley - loveblush now and hopefully the lessons we have learnt getting from there to here will make where we go a better place for both of us.

If it dont kill you....

Shortest time.

I did once sleep with a girl, and we agreed in the morning that it should be more than a one night stand. It didn't stop her having a mad crazy angry fit at 7pm that evening though.

Women!

If theres one thing I like about Lesbians its that they often completly understand just how difficult girlfriends can be.

Indeed you are correct.

Without wishing to blow ones own trumpet, I have had quick flings with a couple of bi-sexual women in my past, and in the morning they both said how nice it was to sleep with a man for a change. Not in light of my own performance, I'm sure, which was mediocre in both cases, but in the straightforwardness and lack of 'issue' in the whole thing.

Sometimes i'm glad i'm single, because i don't have to go through the palarver that you lot have experienced.
But most of the time being single sucks.

Master B...I will NEVER go with a man.

There's ups and downs to both being single and taken. If only the good bits of both could be sifted into a concetrated form

Well, seeing as I really canĀ“t take a hint it was probably my own fault. But I was dumped by a girl, where it took a month before she told me. She just did her best to avoid me during that time. And then dumped me in an e-mail, despite us talking on the phone that day.

It's the easiest way to deal with someone if you dont like them but if you do then its the hardest thing in the world....hardly sounds like his hearts bleeding though.

I was dumped by letter on my 16th Birthday.

The letter was tucked inside a birthday card smiley - steam I seem to recall that the letter blamed me for things not working out, but I found out a few days later that he had been seeing a girl at his university for weeks. Nice of him to save up the news as a special present. Ho hum.
