How to dump someone and how not to - oh and the funniest experiences to lighten the mood
azahar Posted Dec 31, 2004
True. People need to be sexually compatible but considering the usual amount of time people spend 'doing it' compared to the time they spend together doing stuff like talking, eating, shared interest activities and simply enjoying each other's company I doubt that sexual prowess could be enough to ensure never getting dumped.

">> I think it could be because I'm great in the sack, but you'd have to ask the respective partner about that one.
No darling, you had it right when you said "Yet".
Don't worry about it though. Anyone as arrogant as you will be dumped in time.

Ah, someone who doesn't have the mental capacity to understand the concept of humour. How pleasant it is to be back on h2g2 for this short period of time.

Never mind, I knew you were being daft. Cheer up everyone.
My friend's just been chucked...or is about to chuck her girlfriend...she saw her in the pub practically on the pool table with a guy.

Eh, doesn't bother me. I find it amusing that someone feels the need to flame me as *soon* as I get back to posting on this site. I have absolutely no clue who B is either. Makes me laugh.
Anyway, back to the stories.

Am I seriously the only person who has done it? Although then again the only reason I got chucked is because she is uptight about responsibility and the fact that piano comes before anything else...so I still fool around with her and am really good friends...she just doesn't talk to me often.
Reckon that's wrong? Should you be able to fool around with exes?

In my experience, when a girl says; "i'd rather we were just friends."
She actually means, "Stay the f**k out of my life and f**k off back to whatever abyss you crawled out of." Or words to that effect.

Maybe she shouldn't have chucked me then...maybe it's just a psychological chucking for her...oh dear I don't like girls, they're confusing.

I have just had an email reminding me that Sat is 'only 19' and suggesting I give her an even break.
So here you are Saturnine - one even break - - don't use it all at once. Shame that your primary insult is still to assume that people who pay you the courtesy of assuming that you mean what you say are stupid. No change there, then. (Note to self - never believe anything Saturnine writes, she is obviously joking. Of course.) Also a shame that you still cannot be arsed to work out who it is that you are insulting. (Reminder to self - Sat has a sense of humour). Let's hope you enjoy the joke in the fact that we have met.
On the subject of remaining friends with exes. Another email in the lot which arrived this evening was from my ex, friendly, wise, helpful, kind, concerned, funny. It took us both a lot to get back to being on those terms, but it was worth it. It takes discipline, determination, and a respect for them, what you shared, and lot of self-resepct to achieve it though.

Ah, it's BEN. So what crawled up your butt to make you dislike me so, and to cause you to have this rampant need to flame? I would be "hurt" but lets face it, that would just be silly.
(By the way, people age, I'm well into being 20 now)

Ach, Sat, it would just be downright malicious of me to explain in detail what it is, apart from your absolutely consistent arrogance, that makes me feel like a bowl of petunias whenever you turn up.
Besides which, I've given you that even break, remember? I live in hope that the bowl of petunias will be wrong this time.
It is good to see you in such bouncy form, though.
