Fiendishly Difficult Puzzle.
Annie the Great Posted Mar 7, 2004
I am stuck in the room with the walkway up to the door, in the Mysteries of Time & Space game. I have the loose tiles off the wall and the head in the diskette box and I know that one or both has to go into the insertion slots, but I can't work it out.
Can anyone help me?
Annie

It's just a matter of slotting in all three tiles, and moving them about a bit until there's a line running from left to right (there's a little bit of a line in the gaps between the tiles). once you've got a line, drop the head into the puzzle

Relase head on right hand side of puzzle. Then move the chair and click on the left hand side of the ramp to lower it and open the door.

My three year old daughter loves playing this little game (with some help, of course.) So thanks for posting it, Clive!

My daughter also liked this "let's play the spooky game... it creeps me out!" But we can't play it anymore because my 1 year old say the screen with the skulls (where you have to click on them in the right pattern) and he completely freaked out. Why would be afraid of that? He can't have any idea of what it's supposed to mean, but he was really really terrified. Weird??? So I better be more careful what I let them see!

Must say I thought the Crimson Room was horrible, seemed to be based more on fiendishly difficult clicking than any fiendishly difficult puzzles.
However, I'm thoroughly enjoying the Mysteries of Time and space but a little aid is needed. I'm in the level with the Green Room and the Coke machine. I'm triying to get down the last laser barrier (left of the coke machine) but I'm getting nowhere.
So far I've tried switching off all the lights I can (snipped all 3 wires) to save as much power as possible and still nothing happens with the 1,2 and 3 buttons.
My suspicion is that I cannot read the code properly as my monitor may bit a bit dark for it to be read. Are there 6 or 7 numbers in the combination?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree entirely?
If so a hint may be helpful

!! ANOTHER SPOILER WARNING !!
Yep, spoiler definitely on it's way...
I can't remember how many numbers there were but you have to move the desk lamp up and down as far as possible to get all of them.

Cheers CLive but I knew that. i was in fact right, it was *very* hard to read them on my monitor. In fact there are EIGHT!
So I've got the barrier down and naturally the darn door's locked!
Ah well, plodding on...

Ok, I give up!
I am in the first room of the Crimson Room. I have all three keys, the audio cassette, the box, the ring, the cd case, the memo, and the power cable. How do I open the door?

I have everything but the battery - can someone put a specific clue on my PS? I am up to Lvl9 on MOTAS (Mysteries of Time and Space), but I just can't find the battery in the Crimson Room.

baadmonkey - the little hand says its time to rock and roll... Posted Mar 9, 2004
Humour a simpleton - where in the name of all that is good and holy in the world is the tape?! I've got everything else, but it would appear to be eluding me. There's something underneath the dresser, but I would appear to be blind as to exactly what...

I've just spent an hour clicking on a series of things in an entirely random and fruitless manner, attempting to get the door open. Once you've assembled all the items mentioned above, and the box is working, is the dancing guy important or just a herring?

The dancing guy is important. But is he really just dancing? Is that all he's doing? Might he be trying to tell you something through the "medium of contemporary darnce"?

I've been trying to figure out where it is the end movement of the little fella's boogie is pointing to, and then relating it to the wall. Do I just click on everything a lot, or is there an element of skill to it?
Apologies for lack of brain-working...
