I understand that there's a Filipino dish made grom cabbage that has been vomited from a dog's stomach.
I wonder how it gets in there...I mean, dogs don't normally eat cabbage.
(Can we lay off the vomit discussion now? )

Kope Luwak is a very expensive type of gourmet coffee made in Indonesia. It is brewed from coffee beans that have passed through the digestive track of a palm civet.

Another delicacy from South East Asia is the Durian... a fruit that has a very tasty custardlike flesh... Unfortunately when its husk is opened it smells like putrified flesh.
Many hotels and other public areas ban the fruit altogether.

Durians: A330805
I recently heard it described as 'Like custard flavoured with onion - but in a good way!'
Products recently glimpsed (and some purchased!) in my local Chinese Cash n' Carry: Green tea flavour marshmallows with red bean jam filling; vegetarian fried lobster snack; dried jellyfish; Easter Bunny prune juice candies; dried salt-pickled plums flavoured with licorice; frozen pigs' uteri.

Can't remember if we mentioned this when discussing polydactyly (above) - but Ann Boleyn had six fingers.

Another acquired taste...'Salty Herrings' - Swedish licorice sweeties, covered in salt and flavoures with...ammonium hydrochloride. The taste is akin to eating a Pontefract cake while someone p---es into your mouth! (I'd imagine)

Respiration
Perspiration
Expectoration
Micturation
Urination
Defication
Regurgitation
Eructation
Flatulation
Ejaculation
Have I missed any? (we can be such disgusting creatures, can't we?)

P.S. One of my favourite phrases (used when teaching) is that it's like 'micturating into a stiff breeze'.
