... the thing is covered in dust... a super fine dust created by eons of pulverizing meteor and micrometeor strikes called regolith. That place is in one serious need of a megagigantahellahoovering... maybe that's where nighthoover disappeared to.

~*~Mr X: If the guide entry is correct, your date for the earliest mummies is off by about 1000 years. Unless of course you meant 7060 years BC.~*~
Nah, Wikipedia. Third paragraph down:
"Radiocarbon dating reveals that the oldest, discovered Chinchorro mummy was that of a child from a site in the Camarones Valley, about 60 miles south of Arica and dates from around 5050 B.C."
Add 2009 for A.D. and you get about 7060 years old.

The hoover wouldn't work, there's no atmosphere. It figures that the one place a vacuum cleaner is useless is in a vacuum.
In space, no one can hear you clean.

I doubt that. I bet the bills in Monopoly today have higher numbers than the ones from 30 years ago.

Appologies if this borders on being useful:-
Taiwan, Kosovo and Vatican City are the only 3 countries in the world who are NOT members of the United Nations.
I have no idea why not though.

It's not necessarily useful, but it is quite interesting.
1. I would have thought there would have been many more, and
2. Those wouldn't have been my first guesses.

Kosovo still isn't fully recognised as an independent country, and Taiwan's status is disputed (mostly by China). Vatican City is an ecclesiastical city-state with a population mostly made up of Catholic clergy. Bearing in mind that it is the sovereign territory of the Catholic Holy See, I'm not sure it has any place in the United Nations.
