Or find your Character Map. Mine (in windoze XP) is in the start menu under all programs/accessories/system tools. Click on the character you want, click again and drag it to paste it where you want it.
Things I commonly grab from the character map include: ° ¿ ™ ñ € and £(I'm in the U.S.).

No, I think you'll find that the Silurian era was named after the reptilian race of the same name that ruled the Earth before mammals came along.
They tried to tap into a power station a while back but were defeated by some bloke in a frilly shirt and some army chaps.
I saw it on TV so it must be true.
Oh, and Siluruans cannot vomit underwater.
