I would like to hear more of you trying to make the case that America does not have a left wing - to me that means you are way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way (42!) out in left field.

I don't think you can blame the right-wing for racism somehow. Racism is a fairly natural tendancy really. People like to get into little groups and hate all the other little groups. I would say that there might well be a tendancy for the more conservative members of society to do this, as these are generally the people who crave stability, and would feel threatened by the change of an influx of foreigners. In addition, they might feel the need to band together for collective security.

Its all rather unfortunate really.

According to several conservative talk radio hosts, "the Race Card is a page right out of the liberal playbook". I would agree with that statement after seeing the name-calling epidemic here.
