Lemon, as I mentioned before, you really don't come across as being very happy. Don't you think that there might be some other reason or reasons for taking such an extreme stance?

Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry! Posted Feb 19, 2004
Just read through *all* the posts - was meant to be a quick surf, but I got interested
Lemon, I respect your viewpoints and your emotional strength; however I have to disagree with you about sex. I became a Christian last year so me and my boyfriend are having to abstain until we get married. But even Christianity doesn't view sex as disgusting - within marriage, it's a wonderful act between two people committed to each other which unifies them and can create life. Personally I view that as miraculous! Plus God invented pleasure, and that's why it's good . BTW, I wasn't a virgin when I "got religion" (as my parents say - the religion bit, not the other!), and I openly admit sometimes having to wait is tricky.
Self control, like most things, is best in moderation. Too much rich food and drink is bad for you, but the occasional and is enjoyable. Denying yourself pleasure is at times appropriate (like for me, before marriage); but constantly denying yourself seems, to me, to be a shame and fundamentally to be bad for us.
That said, if a few people stopped to think about the consequences of their actions a bit more, the world may improve. But you can't make people do that. The sort of government it sounds like you wish to create is one where you "educate" people into thinking like you; and I have grave reservations about that type of totalitarianism, as that is what it appears to me from how you described what you wanted. Although I may simply have misunderstood what you meant, in which case I apologise, as I'm not trying to say you're a dictator in the making.
I appear to be flying off at tangents, so I'll add another one in :
And my first ever boyfriend nicknamed my s Everest and K2 - I'm rather well endowed for my build, shall we say!

Mu Beta Posted Feb 19, 2004
Everest is 8850m, K2 is 8591m - a difference of 259m, or about 3%. Assuming Rains' breasts are DD, that would make them approximately 20cm of protrusion, meaning that one breast would be a mere 7mm higher. You'd need to be a pretty accurate surveyor (and a lucky one!) to verify this.

hi Rains,
Don't mind them! Boys will be boys! Honestly . . .

I think Rains should offer up her for inspection and survey. Purely in the interests of science, you understand.

Reddyfreddy,
I think you should re-think that last posting of yours and apologise for it because it was amazingly stupid and insensitive.

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013 Posted Feb 19, 2004
To be fair, she did introduce the topic...

To be fair, she made a comment about what her boyfriend called her breasts, which was initially what this thread was about. Does this then, fairly speaking, make her open to to be made fun of?

Was I making fun?
On a topic of this nature, there's bound to be a little, shall we say, bawdiness. I'm sorry if you think I overstepped the mark.

Well, Rains made some very good points to Lemon about maintaining virginity for various reasons and I think she was trying to understand Lemon's stance about this.
I thought you overstepped by then asking her to put her tits up for inspection and not commenting on anything else she said.

Well if I was sensitive to comments about the subject, I wouldn't be saying anything about them. If I say (as I have on other threads here) anything about my boobs I expect a certain level of response.
RF's joke seemed to be carrying the boy's logic to its (distasteful) conclusion, but I wouldn't react to it as strongly as you did. Mind you, it is such a long time since I saw post 1 I'd forgotten that was the original point of the thread. It struck me as a slightly random comment when she made it, now it makes more sense

Yeah well, I admit I am feeling hyper-sensitive about most things at the moment (my very much loved cat might die soon), so I probably shouldn't be posting anything anywhere at all.
Please excuse any emotional rants from me.

Azahar - you have a and (and a sympathy smiley) for your feelings about your cat. If it makes you feel happier to be out and about, then go for it.

You men, you're all so predictable!
BTW, for those of a scientific bent (oo er), they are actually an E cup and there is a difference of roughly 1cm. Not particularly big in context, but this particular ex was a man.
The last time I, er, offered them for public inspection (about 18 months ago), my boyfriend almost dumped me. Oops. Though, as one of the Fast Show characters would say, "I was very, very, drunk."

Mostly, I just don't like hormones. I hate having someitnhg making me have feelings and thoughts I don't want. In general, I wish I could just undo puberty. It would make so many things better.

I would suggest that it is a way to purify the mind of the things you deny yourself.

That's not the kind of government I want; quite the opposite. Rather I want to fix the striking problems with my nations government (I'm an American). The government discriminates against too many groups of people (atheists, agnostics, non-christians in general, homosexuals, ect.)' has very little respect for civil liberties; and misuses tax money through what I suspect is both incompetance and corruption.
