The Edited Entry they don't want you to read
Frumious Bandersnatch Posted Jul 8, 2003
Right, let's clear this up. This is a simple enough cockup. I linked to the entry on Female Masturbation. I then provided another link to an entry, and commented that the activity condoned in it was illegal.
Clearly my "copy-paste" finger was playing up, because I linked to the same entry again, when I MEANT to link here: A507034 . As I understand it, Alfresco Sex is or will shortly be illegal in the UK.
Simple mistake. Sorry. Hope that clears it up. Over and out.

What happened was wrong, and it should be chased up - last week people were sending emails trying to get an answer - has any been recieved? Until later....

Situation update:
Three weeks on, and so far my repeated requests for an explanation of the reason for the deletion of the Edited Entry I have written have resulted in ... nothing.
I've emailed h2g2Editors several times, and they've fobbed me off.
I've offered to email Editorial Policy direct, but the Editors told me they're on holiday, so I wouldn't get a reply. I suppose it is summer, after all, and I can't imagine the BBC can afford luxuries like staff cover or secretaries...
I'm still waiting. I'll give it another week, then email Editorial Policy direct and let yous all know the outcome... whether you care or not!!! Mwahahahaaaa.

But think of unread e-mails that will have piled up, that they are going to have to conscientiously read through

I care too, Jimmie - don't give it up. You're not alone. Obviously! Look at all the people who are still caring.

Just saw this and though FB would enjoy a wee joke while he's waiting:
Some people think the glass is half full
Others think it is half empty
An engineer thinks the glass is twice as big as it needs to be

I was probably a little too cryptic - I care about what the Powers Behind the Towers do to the site.
Mind you - the prospect of a posthumous fan club for the blue boy appeals to me.
