Bucky O Hare was the only "Turtles-rip-off" that was any good. I actually quite liked it. I loved TMNT but the spin off's were ridiculous. Anyone remember Battletoads and Biker Mice from Mars?

I never even liked the turtles, and Bucky O' Hare was pure rubbish...

Talking of Sunday mornings on Channel 4, remember Ulysses. This guy and his robotic vehivles fighting the evil plant robotic vehicles, that was wicked...
U-lys-ee-ee-ee-ee-es,
Is there nothing in the world you cannot do?'
Oh, and Sharkey and George the crimebusters of the sea. Now that was cr*p.

Agreed Sharky and George was crap, but I think you're gettig Ulysees mixed up with Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors.
Ulysees was in space with his ship mates frozen trying to find the kingdom of Hades.
Jayce was the good vehicles against evil plant vehicles schtick (and very good it was too).
Plus if you don't mind me being pedantic...#

I suppose my theory is a little weak. Before we had the kids, we always watched the kids show on a Saturday morning and the Disney cartoons on a Sunday morning - I was definitely a lot older than 13 then.

Here is another animated one that’s bothering me. If its title has already been mentioned then I apologise, but I didn’t recognise it.
It was about the time that Battle of the planets was on. It had 3 heroes in it. One called Hercules who was unsurprisingly very strong, one was very fast (I think/assume he was called Mercury) and a female character who could change into animals.
Anyone remember it’s title?. It wasn't very good, its just I can't remember it's name. At my age it's a wonder I can remember my own name.

One of my all time faves was Space Sentinels. Made by filmation (who did the animated Star Trek and He Man) it was shown in the early 70's.

Madent Posted Feb 13, 2003
That's the one, but it wasn't on until the late 70's. Just checked on Google and it wasn't made until 1977 and line Rhino said was on at the same time as Battle of the Planets.

Does anyone remember The Changes? I can only very vaguely remember it. I think all the machines in the world stopped working, or something like that.

Don't remember time tunnel. But Monkey, now there you have a true classic. I always wanted my own pink cloud to fly around on.
On Monkey , was the monk who rode the white horse female?. The person who played the monk seemed to be, but I seem to recall the story indicated that the character was male.

Yeah, it was supposed to be a young boy, but was clearly played by a lass.
Hmmmm. Time tunnel. There was on episode where the two guys (Tony & summat - can't remember) landed on the Titanic. It was obvious it was the Titanic. The whole audiance knew it was the Titanic from the start of the prog. But it took the 'boffins' in the control room half the episode to figure it was the Titanic. It's rather annoying when the show moves slower than the audiance.

Was it called Monkey Magic? Or am I mixing it up with something else? There is something called monkey on tv in the wee small hours but haven't had a bout of insomnia for a while so don't know if that is the same thing.
I loved the Adventure Game, seem to remember saying 'gronda gronda' a lot

I remember it as Monkey Magic too, but I also beleive it is the same show presently being screened in the wee smalls under the name of Monkey.

The show is called "Monkey" but the theme tune says Monkey Magic. And it's on C4 late night on Tuesdays I think.
