Actually Rent-a-ghost is making a pretty effective assault and may shortly dislodge button moon. Trouble is I can't really remember all of the words, so there are lots of tum-ti-tum-ti bits in it.
Really, what was the big talking sheep dog called in Jamie and his magic torch?

googling is cheating when it comes to this sort of thing - you couldn't google in the pub now could you?

Mustn't forget "Ludvig". Whenever that comes up in conversation everyone looks puzzled and says "what the f**k was THAT all about?!"

I'd forgotten about king rolo...what *was* that about?
Actually I don't remember what a lot of kids tv was about...just vague impressions and images.

Backtracking heavily, the likely reason why Saturnine links Count Duckula and Dangermouse (apart from them both being Cosgrove Hall productions) is that they were both voiced by David Jason.

I could never stand to watch Thunderbirds. I could never understand what was going on. I've watched it once or twice as an adult and I still can't follow the plot.
Never liked any of those, Joe 90, Captain Scarlet, Fireball XL5.

Thunderbirds never really had a plot as such.
People got into trouble, and the Tracey boys rescued them in their clever machines. That about it really. Oh, there is THE HOOD - he bald get that causes some of the accidents, but it's never entirely clear why. Maybe it's revenge, may it's to get a look at the Thunderbirds, maybe he's just an accident-for-hire. There is a live action Thunderbirds live coming up that claims it may have an answer to exactly what The Hood is up to.
Captain Scarlet, on the other hand, quite definately had a plot, it's just that we never saw the end of it, however, it can clearly been seen that...

*he bald get* oddly appropriate, but I meant *the bald guy*.
And *live action Thunderbirds live* should be *live action Thunderbirds film*
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

I was struck last night by how much Noel Gallagher looks like one of the thunderbirds.
Brains, ironically enough.

Yes, I always think Alan Hansen looks like one of the thunderbirds.

I did hear that Parker had been cast. And it's not Ray Winstone. Which is a shame, cus he would fit perfectly.

Thunderbirds never had a plot? What a relief. All these years I thought I was missing something.
It will be interesting to see if the live actors will have trouble restraining themselves from waddling about with their arms in the air, marionette style.
