I loved mary, Mungo and Midge. I used to cry when it was over. (Even hearing the end music now gives me goosebumps - aaaah nostalgia)
I also loved the Clangers, BarbaPapa, Banana Splits, 73, Pixie and Dixie, It's the Wolf, Bagpuss, Vision On, Catweazle, Crystal Tipps and Alistair and How?
I hated Pipkins, Rentaghost and Bod!

Just got into work and catching up. OK first of all...
DM, Duckula, Jamie and his Magic Torch, Mysterious Cities of Gold - all marvellous.
Thunderbirds - eh? Never understood what that was about. Preferred Terrahawks for anyone who remembers it.
Plus a guy I work with is down in London right now (at Pinewood Studios) auditioning for a part in the Thunderbirds Live Action Movie. Don't know what part - he wouldnt say (unless he's lying and he just wanted a day off)

I'm with you on Mary Mungo and Midge. I loved that. I've got one episode on vid. Nobody ever mentions Big John Little John in these conversations or Mr Men. Doctor Snuggles too, though I hated that.
Mary from MM&M spoke perfect Queen's English. Changing times.

Doctor Snuggles. That's one not a lot of people mention. And someone mentioned Ludwig earlier. I remember that, it was f##king insane! A silver egg with telescopic arm and legs?!?

Scooby doo with scrappy was bad , but for very bad one really must mention Rupert the bear.
For good , although I was far too old to watch it without feeling embrassed , Trap-door
Does anyone remeber Pipkins ?

I don't know. Postman Pat always held the title of King for me.

Sam was just a poor pretender to Pat's throne.

Does anyone remember the name of the film or series with a kid who blows up his cheeks and says "You can do it, Johnny Moon"? I think it gave him special powers. Probably Disney, though not sure.

I nearly mentioned Ludwig before. It was a really weird show, but about the only thing that made sense of the name was the music - Beethoven.

SpinksSecret:
But it was *Duffy* Moon - not Johnny!
Does that ring a bell? I think you might find something out there in internet tv nostalgia land. I remember it as being: shortlived (in the Uk at least), American and god-awful!

Rhino, I remember the Pipkins, I think.
I remember Hartley Hare and Octavia the Ostrich, and a monkey called Topov. Was there a tortoise? This is right at the far reaches of my memory now. Inigo Pipkin? Can't remember what they use to do or where they did it.

Thanks Cleo ,
It though I was going mad , nobody else seemed to remember it. I vaguely recall a pig in it with a heavy west midlands accent, but I can't for the life in me recall its name.

There was a Pig....it was called Pig. Ditto Tortoise. As I stated earlier, I hated this programme - especially Hartley Hare
