As in cliquey?
I like to think I'm not a cliquey person. If there's someone new at work or in a social group I'm open to them. Unless they're a tosser of course.

Which one certainly shouldn't assume, and I try not to either.

Personally I don't find all that conversation lark difficult. I ask you a question, you ask me a question, if you say something really interesting I ask two questions etc. Totally beyond some people.

personally I hate burberry. It is worn by English football hooligans. Why? I have no idea.

Pubs started banning people wearing England shirts so the hooligans got a new uniform, plus, "iss awrigh' inni'?"

but why did the hooligans choose burberry? Maybe for its apparently unthreatening symbolism. I still see old ladies in my area wearing it obviously with no idea of its new meaning.

I do not pretend to have a clue. Perhaps it is a mistake to look for logic in the mind of a football hooligan.

pubs near me have already banned burbury and "simalar checks".......probably cos they dont want to be lumberjack bars....

Anyone who uses the phrase "at the end of the day". I mean, at the end of the day what are you on about??

The Groob Posted Nov 8, 2004
Burberry. Am I right in saying that's a sort of brown tartan or do they deal in other styles?

Pubs that go OTT and ban things. You can't ban patterns just 'cos idiots wear it. We have a pub in our area which has banned headgear!
