Yeah.
Actually, I think I may have something to contribute.
I really, intensely dislike the kind of person who considers you as a "friend", even if you've only talked once, for five minutes, introduced by a friend of a friend. I mean, how needy. There's even some people who behave so atrociously on Hootoo.

It only irks me if they then follow me around. People in general, who I am mildly acquanted with, who decide to go to the same place as I am going for the same reason, are ok. People who are going somewhere because I am going there and we are 'friends' are not.

Certainly not. Well, I speak for my experience of you on Hootoo. I was thinking of someone I know in real life.
Though I worry that I do it myself sometimes.

I do it a lot, out of boredom. But I only follow people I'm SURE I like, and I keep quiet until they talk to me.
No, I'm NOT a stalker...

Ah, well, there's a difference between being a spectator to an amusing event, such as someone being kidnapped and wrapped with cling-film, as happened today in the sixth form centre, and saying a brief "hi" and then gaining a small two- legged satellite until you make some brief excuse and hurry away out of following distance.

S'true, s'all true.
The worst is when you appear friendly to someone, friendly enough for them to follow ya for a while, and you know you're doing it- you just don't have a choice, for some sociopolitical dynamic group interplay reason, eg, she's your gf's best friend.
Damn her.

Mmmm, yeah, that is harsh. Or people you are moderately nice to because you don't have the heart to be honest.

There's a girl I'm friends with, who doesn't understand "personal space". Apparently there are times when I just overwhelm her with my "cuteness" (mind you, I'm a girl), and she just has to grin broadly at me and PINCH MY CHEEK. Other times if we're sitting next to one another, she'll bump her leg against mine, or lay her head on my shoulder, and sometimes she'll clap me on the shoulder and leave her hand there heavily until I shrug it off. And if I react, she'll grin at me.
Also, there are times when I just need a little alone time and am reading by myself in the dining hall, and she'll come up, all smiles, and sit down beside me and expect me to carry on a conversation with her. Now, in her defense, there's no way she could know that I don't want to talk, but it still drives me crazy.
Anyway, my petty hate in general is people who don't respect others' personal space and can't take a hint.

I sympathise. Cheek- pinching in general is to be frowned upon.

As a little, blonde, rosy objet d'arte of a child (once. Am nothing like that now) I was cheek-pinched half-to-death by complete b***dy strangers every single day.
I empathise very very deeply.

Replying to a thread and suddenly realising you have nothing to add to the subject. I hate that.

Cats that feel that being a lap cat takes precedence over using a laptop, especially when you're trying to post to an H2G2 conversation. (Actually, no, I don't hate that; I think it's funny. But when he breaks the keyboard I'll stop laughing…)

People who, when they can't convince you by reasoned argument, resort to saying 'You know I'm right'.
GAH!
