Public transport in NI Looks like the easiest way to pick up my car is to take the train to Bangor, then cycle 45 minutes from there.

Mala, it's taken you this long to figure out transport in NI is crap? I'll counter you. Polish public transport. Much, much worse. Trains are standing room a lot of the time, slow, narrow aisles, dangerous... buses are a bit better.

Mal, was that from the Translink journey planner? It's a masterpiece of fiction - where did you need to pick the car up from?

Never trust the Translink planner, it put me 12 hours out once... better to learn whatever you need off by heart. Safer!

I found out the public transport gets annoying in my (British) city when the local football team plays. I assume buses are diverted for fans, which is nice for them, but no use for the rest of us who unexpectedly discover we are stranded, with the hi-tech display boards telling us buses will arrive which never do.

As I thought. You'd have been better getting a bus - I don't know why they even mentioned trains to Bangor.
