The way you see something in the TV guide billed as informative and interesting and it turns out to be a load of cr@p.

People who listen to the first five seconds of a song then refuse to listen the whole way through because it's "boring".

Pepole who sit in the seat opposite yours on the London Underground and chew gum with their mouths open

J Lo.
I'm sure her friends call her that and I don't have a problem with that. But why do people insist on calling her that who don't know her? It's not like they're buddies or anything.

Plugs in the media masquerading as chitter chatter.
Eg the lottery show
Lottery 'voice': I'm looking forward to watching Rambo 3 later Philip
Philip Schofield: Great movie!
Total BS. And anyway, can you imagine Philip Schofield sitting down to watch Rambo? Ha!

commercials with cheesy songs. (wellbad commercials in general but thats not petty)
Theres a Ford commercial with an awful song... I think it goes
(?)"Just the way you want it, everything you need in it..." or something equally horrible.
And people in advertisements who do completely ridiculous and totally unlifelike things and pretend they like it.
Theres a commercial for some quick-bake easy dinner that they had a whole family eating it for dinner and going, mmmmmm, this is so great

Okay, I give up!
Where are the signs on the London Underground saying "normal rules for politeness and courtesy don't operate beneath ground level". I seem to have missed them.

Meetings held in staff lounges. I come here to have lunch and get away from work, I don't want to have listen to you talk about yours.
If you need to have a meeting, book a room!

People who, when you've just come back from a really exciting and interesting place, ask the most mundane things like "what did you eat?".
