Point taken, Mala, but we have to clear the air now and then.
Nevertheless:
Not so petty a hate: Smokers who insist on carrying on when they know it damages their health and probably leads to additional burden on the NHS which is paid for in part by me.
(There are other people who endanger their health voluntarily, but that's my main hate)

Well, yes, they should clear the air, too. It's not their damaging their *own* health I mind so much...

As an extreme example, do you disagree with suicide as somebody has to deal with the situation (Police etc) and you have to pay for it?

The people who go out with as much of a mess as possible - like jumping from an inner-city building, or in front of a train, certainly. Especially the situations in which other people actually get hurt and have to live with having killed someone, like running in front of a car.

The existence of examples that seem to contradict ones feelings, beliefs, emotions etc., don't mean they are unjustified in the first place

While we're on the subject, if someone really *wants* to die (there are any number of valid reasons for this), I don't see why others try to stop them.

I find it frustrating that, when you've posted a new journal, the convo list shows up "1 new post" but that is your own post. I always think "ooooh! Someone's commented already!", then I click on it and realise that no one has seen it yet and my gem shall probably vanish into obscurity within a week.
This is more of a petty hate than something for the feedback page, because I can live with it, really.

I agree. When you've read the backlog on a community thread, it claims "no new posts" or "15 new posts", or whatever. It seems that doesn't apply to journal entries. Shame Gets me every time.

Chocolate eating men on adverts.
I have just seen an ad for Kit Kat Chunky. The man is holding his KKC like a hammer. NOBODY holds chocolate like that.

Whilst we're on tv ads, isn't there a preponderance of women getting the upper hand on men? The woman always seems to be the smart one and the mistakes always nmade by the man.
Now, I know what the women among you will say. But isn't it just a bit sexist?
Could we men claim sexual discrimination? Or the women could claim that, too, as they are being deprived of the opportunity to appear as idiots - which of course, they....no, I'd better not go there
We love you really

Personally I think anyone who sits and watches advertisements of their own free will has chosen the Dark Side in the "who is intelligent" debate, anyway.
