I see one just today that said grandchild on board. Like it makes any difference if its the drivers grandchild!

But it's CUTE! Isn't it cute? They surely think it is. I don't. I hate the damn things, and always wonder if the driver is the baby in question. GRRR! GRRR!

Glad its not just me that thinks these thoughts about those thoroughly (lets be honest) ridiculous signs.
Haven't seen the Grandchild one yet.
On this subject, I did see one once that went like this...
"Is Your Fly Undone?"
Damn it! I checked didn't I.

I can't usually tell the difference between one of those signs and a crash-test dummy symbol.

There is a serious point here though. The signs are indeed supposed to notify emergency services in the event of an accident and the other people in the vehicle being unable to communicate for whatever reason. So some poor paramedic might risk their life going back to a dangerous situation to rescue a child that is not in fact there!
Who agrees that any motorist displaying this sign when there is no infant in the vehicle should be prosecuted?

For endangering the life on an any person who would check? Yes, I agree.
P.S. What I said in the last post was a joke.

Whoopsie, bit tongue-twisted there:
...life of any person who would check..

S'OK, I recognise humour! It was just something that really does wind me up.

Historians who can't or won't write a straight sentence. I'm reading Marx and Engel's 'The German Ideology'. I've read two pages, and I can tell it's going to be a very long week.

Erm... excuse me. I like Latte, Hot Chocolate, and the odd Cappuccino or Mocha. My husband likes Espresso (though not Starbucks's). Tea and Coffee solely is very limiting.

I like to make the odd hot chocolate at home. It tastes far better and costs just 6p

That is very true, eloisa and Aries. Nicer, cheaper drinks can be found in most places. NICER drinks can be found in Costa, which I nominate as today's petty hate, as their products are good, but oh lordy, the prices are awful!
