Why would the various teas need to be on a menu? If you don't already know your teas you are clearly in the wrong place.
Welcome to Mr. Dreadful's Teahouse, Where Snobbery Reigns Supreme!

I'm rather partial to gunpowder. All the health properties of green but without tasting slightly of grass.

no, places like costa and starbucks should be banned. i go to a lovely little italian restaurant who do take-away coffee for 85p. and it's far far superior to the costa round the corner. havent been in a starbucks for years.

But, when I went into one this afternoon, I saw, clearly displayed above the counter, a list of coffees ... . But I went in to get tea
.
Another petty hate: Office vending machines that will work just long enough to spit out a drink for the person in front of you, and then stop working..

Ah, but I was referring only to the menus of Dreadful Teahouses... wouldn't want the wrong sort coming in!
But yes, the lack of tea choice given in Starbuck, et al. is apalling.

Ah, yes, see now I do.
Another hate: Cheap clones of Star Wars films or characters. (My own version of Attack of the Clones)

Well, I don't know that was or who, but naughty person, don't do it again!
Just for clarification on the last point I made, my roommates like doing impersonations of their favourite characters. My problem is all the things they have broken swinging broom sticks around like light sabers.

The person who won't shut up is a very large petty hate of mine.
I'm just back from a meeting and this woman (it's a new group meeting for the first time) just went on and on and on... eventually you could almost see the level of energy dropping whenever she opened her mouth, and people started talking over her, as she went on and on each time she started!

People, who after an exam, insist on talking about it for days afterwards: "What questions did you do?" "Why did you leave early?" "How did you do question 4?", blah blah blah.
After an exam I just want to sit down with hot chocolate (self-made 6p!) eat dinner and go to bed.

You can usually find an old-style greasy spoon cafe in most city centres if you look hard enough, and get a very good coffee for a fraction of the pi$$-taking prices charged in Starbucks or Costa. Clue: look for a police station or a taxi rank nearby, as both coppers and taxi drivers appear to have an old-school conservatism about them and prefer the greasy spoon option.

That is probably becuase they have common sense.
It has just struck me, sitting on my balcony staring at the sky, how noisy London is even at 03:00.
