Ah, but it's not just the passengers. I was waiting for a bus which arrived on time and had to switch over drivers. The old driver then proceeded to tell the one who was taking over at great length about how he'd got in 45 mins late to his last big stop, but had managed to floor it all the way back and arrive on time to where I was waiting. However, he might have got the bus back on schedule for arrival, but made it 15 mins late again to depart because he spent so long telling the other driver about it. Grrrrr.
In fact I get quite irritated by the whole British public transport system. It's never on time and it's totally inadequate in most rural areas.

People who put crisps in the wrong colour bag - I was convinced I'd got cheese and onion right up until the first (distinctly salt and vinegar) mouthful!

The whole MacDonalds obsession of putting "Mc" in front of everything. Come to think of it, just McDonalds in general!

I wonder if they'd chosen an Irish name, would we be able to get O'shakes and O'fries with our O'burgers?
Would their speciality burger be a 'Big O' - or perhaps a Paddy Patty?
- currently annoyed by junk mail after removing two weeks worth from the doorway...

People who cut in line - even when you tell them they've done it -- and then act smugly superior about it

Football websites. I logged onto a team's website to find some simple statistics and found every inch was geared towards selling me something or advertising something.

People (like my boss for example) who can quite clearly see you are talking on the phone but proceeds to talk to you anyway, very rude!
People who you say "excuse me" to in a shop so you can get past them but all they do is get even more in your way cos they think you will get to the queue before you.

People higher up the office heirarchy usually assume that gives them the right to interrupt anyone's conversation. Rudeness is rudeness anywhere, IMHO.
People constantly sniffing in libraries.
