What really makes me sick is the way tabloids think Mick Hucknall being attacked on stage is news-worthy. If I had my way it would happen every time he did a gig. Stupid wailing ginger git.

I really hate that companies that make childrens toys can get away with phrases like, "Don't theorize, accesorize!" ("Bratz Dolls") And I hate that these toys exist and people actually buy them for their daughters
I don't know if that ones appropriate for this thread.
Ah well

Once you remove something from its bag, it'll never fit into such a small space again, no matter how much time you spend rolling/folding it up

Oddly I never have that problem with my tent and sleeping bag, despite the fact that tents and sleeping bags are notoriously difficult to put away.
Petty hate for the day: people who feel they can criticise something they know nothing about. I play Warhammer and DnD, I read comics, I do Live Action Role-Play and I wear glasses... according to various critics I've met this makes me a socially inept virgin.

Yeah it annoys me that the mainstream makes comments about alternative cultures they know absolutely squat about.

One time I was at the gaming night in my local Games Workshop. Some muppet opened the door, grinned and said "ain't any of you sad f**kers got a life?" to which we replied "yes we have actually."
He was subsequently banned from a pub he often frequented because one of the "sad f**kers" was the bar manager.

Some guys look hot in glasses. Clarke Kent played by Dean Cain was far mor attractive than Superman.
Don't think he was into comic books though!

Mrs Dreadful must find that a bit annoying too

She does a bit, but she's not normally around when it happens... even the most twattish of people would find it difficult to call me a socially inept virgin when I'm walking hand in hand with my wife.
Come to think about it the last person who tried that way of thinking with me got a response of "I'm married you f**king moron."

Related one:
People who think they have a right to critise my relationship with my partner, just because there's a large age gap between us. Next time I hear 'But it's not normal, is it?' (if you're normal mate, you can keep it) , or 'Your parents must be so upset' (actually, no, they adore him and spend more time with im than me) someone is going to be carrying their teeth home in their pocket.
One bloke actually said 'but he's old enough to be your father!'. At least he's got the equipment to *be* a father, you small-cocked moron.

The things people forget when criticising other peoples partners are:
1) Not everyone has the same tastes.
2) Love is blind.

My pet hates are the injustices of the selfish and the tyrrany of evil men.

Kerr - a friend of mine gets that - it really peeves off her boyfriend who is several years her senior when people assume that their two children are his grandchildren.
I've said this before but I hate the way some scummy people feel the need to be rude to total strangers for no good reasons. I get frequent insults directed at me because of my weight. I love the fact that a pillock is now banned from a pub because he made assumptions and insults about a group that included his landlord - talk about being hit where it hurt - karmic pricelessness

The other thing I get a lot is the assumption that I don't wash just because I'm into metal... that really annoys me.
Mrs. D sometimes gets stick about her weight, but they're all w*nkers... I think she looks fine... especially when she's wearing knee-high DMs and a dark coloured skirt.

Kat Posted Sep 2, 2005
"they all w*ankers" - oh ain't that the truth . I mean how pathetic, insecure and devoid of interesting things happening in your life do you have to be to reduce yourself to insulting strangers to make yourself feel big. It's the same the on-line trolls - I just don't understand how people can be that utterly sad.

Kerr- as a 'cradle snatcher' I know how you feel. It's even worse when the woman is older. Annoys me to no end. But I haven't had these comments in a while.
Though when I first put my baby in nursery they thought his grandad was his father, and I didn't really know what to do with that...

Regarding the earlier comment about fitting things back into boxes. I've worked in retail for over 10 years now, so one would expect me to be a master at getting things back into their boxes,as i do it nearly every day, but no Once, even a small fraction of a boxes contents have been disturbed, especially if a power lead and plug are involved I'm just hopelessly lost, pushing and tearing at the box
(That part really impresses the customers)
Oh and Dr D, can I just say your wife's style of dressing does indeed sound
Time for a cold shower
