Insomnia or to be specific recurring insomnia

Having quit smoking several months previously, yet still craving a cigarette, knowing that if I were to go out and buy a pack, I'd light one, cough furiously for several minutes, snuff it out immediately, wheeze all night, and repeat again tomorrow evening.

People who "Break Wind" and then announce "Better out than in"........

My in-laws disappearing with my son without so much as letting me know where they're going or when they'll be back.

KFC. I'm sure that stuff isn't chicken.

KFC adverts. Grits on my nerves.

Hair product ads have to be the worst IMO and McDonalds - even when I ate meat I thought their products had only marginally more favour than the packaging they came in. I'm not loving it.

Some of their adverts are cute, but most of them are quite bad. As for hair products- I can't find anything appealing in those.

Bikes when it's been raining. The saddle's all wet, the gears don't shift properly and the brakes scream when you apply the slightest pressure.

Pets. Why in this age of Cybersex and Dale Winton do we require to nurture these pampered menials? Through dereliction and boredom on the part of my growing children, I have been forced to take for walks, feed, provide a temperate habitat and put down: cats, dogs, budgies, snakes, tropical and coldwater fish, rabbits, hamsters, pigeons and rats.

As the owner of a cat which is sleeping peacefully next to me (I am typing QUIETLY!), I have to say, they are low maintenance pets. Feed em twice a day, open the back door now and then and they are happy

Sitting down on the only seat left on the train ,and discovering the person next to you has the worst BO imaginable (decided to stand for the rest of the 45 minute train journey)

Being pregnant. Hating eating/drinking half the things you used to love, and craving things you used to hate, burping and farting incontrollably and losing sight of your own feet. And then there are the moodswings.

Having been watching that 'Life on the List' about organ donation, I realised I havea petty hate that I didn't know about.
In one 'episode' a woman donated an organ/s from her dead daughter. The recipient, a young boy and his family, contacted this berieved woman via the hospital staff to write her a letter.

So far, I have no issue!

The letter that she received was TYPED!!! Now, Im sorry, but if someone donates a part of their dead child, the least you can do is handwrite a letter to say thank you!!! Surely it doesn't matter if your spelling, punctuation and grammar are appaling, the point is that you have made an effort to personalise this piece of correspondence! Personally, had I been the woman on the receiving end of that typed letter, then I would have been a little cheesed off by their lack of effort. In that situation, I would much prefer to get a letter in which every word was spelt incorrectly but hand written, than get a perfectly spelt item that had no real emotion to it.

Maybe Im just an old fashion gal at heart but that really did annoy me and I had to vent. I feel better now!!

More on last night's telly...

I saw an ABBA programme a year ago that was billed as 'the first reunion since the split'. But it was a disappointment as one of the ladies (er, the blonde one) didn't turn up. Last night an ABBA show was advertised as 'the first reunion since the split'. I tuned in anticipating a reunion only find it was exactly the same programme. So twice ITV have promoted a programme with a lie. I really wonder if these TV companies have any respect for their viewers at all.

I think the blonde one is living in a hut somewhere and refuses to do any public appearences at all so thats why she wont ever be on any of these things.
