Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

Innocent in the child department he may have been, but you ain't gonna convince me that he came up with Jabbawockies, rabbits in hats, flamingo croqett sticks and walking playing cards on nothing stronger than a cup of tea....

Oh no, it is a terror that should be banned from the library.

Drug taking caterpillars, child and animal abuse, bottles and plates of dodgy stuff with suggestive labels saying 'Eat me' or 'Drink me'.

Oh, I wouldn't call them a terror, they're fun books. I'm just saying there was definately a dubious 'under the influence' effect going on there....

Well, I'd hope not, but I have been spotted in the near vicinity of hug smileys quite a few times recently, so I'm starting to get paranoid smiley - winkeye

Yes well, it would take something pretty fantastic to make me change out of grumpy sarky bugger mode, and into fluffy mode.

a girl called Ben

I missed the backlog, and I know it is academic now anyway, but I thought I would put in a retroactive couple of cents worth.

I had a friend who used to piss his girlfriends off mightily - if they wanted to go faster than he felt was appropriate, he made them ask their parents permission, with him there. Note the cleverness of this. He was the responsible one, the parents said 'yes' or 'no' to the girls, not their boyfriend or potential boyfriend, and the girl could not hide behind him. SHe had to take responsibility for her actions.

It is extremely likely that she is exercising her sexual power, rather than that she actually fancies you. To be honest, from where I am sitting you both seem young to me. But a lot of formative experiences take place between late teens and early twenties, and I think you are going to find that there is a lot of 'background' she just does not have.

As I said, an out of date couple of cents.

If one were to follow the advice given here, not much "background" would be gained in those formative years. What is the experience one has by the time one is in one's twenties but the sum of what one did when one was in one's teens?
In this girl's case I say, better Master B than someone else.
