Finally finally finally, after much cursing and threatening of Dire Things to everyone remotely connected with Deutsche Telekom....
and a big fight to get the PC to agree to talk to a network card I just installed (only the 2nd time I've ever opened the box)...
I have DSL.
Oh boy what a difference it makes.

Being able to purchase a present for my Mum AND a new notebook AND a cheap book about Hollywood sleaze. All with £10.

I got rid of a bunch of heavy, annoying bills (I'm talking thousands here...
) and spending the whole morning with my husband for the last 6 months 
, and having zillions of reasons and places to hold him close and tell him I love him.

I mainly use it to make collages, mix tape covers, christmas cards and produce my fanzine
I just think craft-knives are really cool, especially my one which is made of metal with a really sharp, retractable blade

I'm crap at art, but playing with sharp knives and getting covered in glue is fun!

re : my Hollywood sleaze book. It's just some cheapie from a discount store. Nothing special. If you want a really good one, I would reccommend "Hollywood Babylon" by Kenneth Anger...
Good thing today? Waking up, and not feeling pressured. Having a bath. Receiving a great email. Knowing I'm going to get some writing done. Nothing extraordinary, but good all the same...
