A california of earthquakes.
Or possibly a Japan of earthquakes?

A Richter. This also sounds good. And more formal. Perhaps you could use richter in formal discussions and a california in informal ones?

It's funny how I think of Teletubbies mostly from their attenae and their televisions more than their exterior colors.
I like better: An aerial of teletubbies.
There was a time when you could get just about anything cheaply or free from the net, (when things were burbling madly-not now, of course). This is the only time that freebees came into my life and that of my friends with the regularity and quantity enough to need collective reference.
I think of: a thrift of freebees, a freelunch of freebees, or a cadge of freebees, depending on who is giving what, and who is asking.
There is a radio station here in LA that gives away huge quantities of tchotchkes with their logo silkscreened on it. The personalities just refer to it as a 'box of station c**p'.
