I just get annoyed with the way so many music videos now use that colour separations system that was first used on "Have a Nice Day" by the Stereophonics. Its as cliched now as the morph
I did know what it was called, but haven't a clue now...

Its not just a technique, its a specific piece of software. It doesn't separate the colours in as brute force a way as making them go black and white, instead it subtlely pushes the reds and hightone greens to make the picture warmer and the flesh tones seem to glow, whilst leaving the whites and cool colours bright and crisp.
Its used such a lot now though...
