Less than two months left until the meet..what better thread to perpetuate than one in which you might charm your way into the graces of people you might meet in person, eh?
*is surprised Master B didn't beat me to the suggestion* Wahahahaha!

The Toastie Bar? How come I never noticed the thread replies, must have got buried I guess!
Wanna Toastie bar again, Joe, I miss you!
*grabs hold of his ankle and doesn't let go until he says he'll come visit*

Unfortunately, Nyssa, my action plan for the Meet isn't very conducive to pulling - I have an alcohol-related bet on with Uncle Heavy.

". . . even when a few bad apples are present, the shinyness of the rest will shine on!" - researchers are the shiny ones!
I stole this from Firstmanslayer - I told you I would

Surely not that Uncle Heavy can drink an entire half pint of beer and stay standing? You're on a loser there.

Define "sober" in relation to Uncle Heavy. He was on cola all night at the last London meet, but I wouldn't say he was sober...

What???
I had figured it was just a straight "who can drink the most" thing btu nevermind!
And yes, I've seen a sober Uncle Heavy, after the last meet we spent a good few hours on the train together havign a theological debate about ants.

*mind balks at Nyssa and 'virginal innocence' cropping up in the same sentence.*
Mr. Heavy seems to be fairly sure he can drink me beneath the proverbial table. Which should be laugh, frankly.

I don't know you but I know Uncle Heavy's drinking skills and I'm quite sure he could...

Yeah yeah..maybe then it should be for us girlies to see from whom *we* can steal the most of *your* virginal innocence!

Tinkerbell - I am aware of his prowess. However, one of my more noted achievements in Birmingham was walking home from a strange club after 50 bottles of Smirnoff Ice (no, I don't drink it out of choice - it was on offer and I couldn't very well drink pints in a club) without falling over AND getting up for 9 o'clock lectures the next day.
As for Nyssa - I'm sorry, love, but I don't believe I've got any left.

If you drunk 50 bottles of smirnoff you'd have ended up in hospital.

I'm with Tink - the body can only absorb so much fluid..
Oh, and we'll see what sorts of evil things we can pluck out of the back of your drunken psyches
