It's Australian for Marmite, in much the same way that 'Hellboundforjoy' is Esperanto for 'Mucus' (and, if it's not, it should be)

They are similar, but one is for vegetarians the other uses meat products in it..(stock etc) and its not the marmite one.

Your supposed to comeback and tell me I can't read, being as it quite clearly states on your ps....etc...do I have to tell you how to insult me?

Trin Tragula Posted Apr 10, 2004
All right - you can't read!
(That doesn't seem very strong though, does it?)
*Gears up*
Right, you pack of snivelling curs, why don't you crawl back into whatever cesspit you oozed out of and raise the tone just by leaving?
(There, that seems more a la mode)

Great, another good thread ruined by people who are too lazy to follow the original post but have just enough energy to create another inane, vapid chat thread.

"I wish people who have trouble communicating would just shut up."
Tom Lehrer
Which presupposes that mere speech between people is not enough and that some mythical 'communication' exists to which only the privileged have access (and all the rest is mere babble, I suppose). The difficulty is, in part, with who exactly gets to decide what is and what is not 'communication': the assumption that 'everyone knows what this is' is very rarely correct. To say nothing of the fact that this seems to me to derive from an oddly exclusive (not to say naive) understanding of language - which is innately 'troublesome': anyone who is trying to communicate is almost certainly doing so, albeit in unforeseen ways, whereas anyone who merely assumes that he or she is communicating generally isn't (other than with him or herself).
"Throughout human history, the apostles of purity, those who have claimed to possess a total explanation, have wrought havoc among mere mixed-up human beings." Salman Rushdie
Right - where were we?
You lot make baboons look good, you know that?
