Still dark out but it is quite frosty. The sky looks quite cloudy. The temperature is between -4° and 0°. The wind speeds are 7 mph NNW.

Good morning from London on this first Monday of January 2010. It's about 08.20 and it's a bright clear morning here in the centre of the City. There's hardly a cloud in the sky, which has been the case the last few days as well. There's no breeze and the current temperature is hovering probably just below zero! Not a bad winter's morning. Personally, the cold doesn't bther me too much when it's so bright and dry!

The weather where I am is brisk but sunny.. It's a bit icy in places, but they haven't gritted the roads and pavements round where I live, either.. Just before Christmas it was really treacherous on the side roads. I had to take small pigeon steps to make sure I didn't fall over!

It's 52 degrees/F and the wind is out of the north at 15 knots. Cloudy and overcast and not nice at all. On Friday it was 80 degrees, so this is a big dip, and it's miserable. The forecasters are predicting colder temps tomorrow.

The morning was bright and sunny, with a chilling breeze. It's 8pm IST now and it's pretty cold. It's very foggy, one cannot even see the building 3rd from one's own!!

Brutal cold this week. The temperatures are dangerously cold with a low in some areas of -34C/-29F. Too cold to enjoy the great outdoors this week. It will feel like a heat wave when the temps stay in the positive range instead of dipping into the negative.

It's a cold day in Balamory (oh, ok, Marple, Stockport) Ice and snow on the ground with more snow predicted for later tonight. Temp not above freezing all day.

Yep even here in London, I'm no more than a couple of miles from the centre, it's hardly risen above freezing all day, and has been another glorious sunny day. This morning my garden was again sparkling after last night's heavy frost...(I put plenty of food out for the birds). No snow though which makes travel easy. I'm getting to really love this weather, which I find so preferable to the coldish wet drizzly overcast stuff we sometimes get in winter.

ive just got up, to find im snowed in, there isnt even a car tracks in the street, so nothing is coming into the estate, so i wont be able to get anywhere.

Partly cloudy skies with a moderate to hard frost. A few bright and/or sunny intervals. Top temperature is 1°C and the wind speeds are light and westerly but will change to northerly winds in the early hours of the morning where there will be light snow.

Marple Stockport, 5" of snow overnight with more predicted for later.

Cloudy skies and it looks like it's going to snow again. It snowed late night from 22:00. Top temperature is 1°C and the wind speeds are 10 E mph.

With the half an inch of snow bringing London transport to its knees, half of the h2g2 team are working from home today. The snow's looking pretty thick outside my window at the moment. Nice and warm inside though...

you want to be here, ive about 12 inches of snow, no buses, cars and vans stuck on the incline at the far end of the street.
