A glorious sunny morning, not a cloud in the sky and no breeze. Currently about 10c with a prmised high of 14c.

I'm sick of hearing the media talk about "winter's not over yet, temperatures set to PLUMMET next week". Temperatuers are actually set to return to the average for march next week and there's a possibility of snow in the far north and scotland! Stop making such a big deal out of it. Spring has sprung!

Taipei, Taiwan - Tuesday 20th March - 15.00

Greetings from Asia. It's a pretty miserable afternoon in Taipei. It's about 19c and raining and horribly overcast and grey. A damp, murky sort of a day. Was going to have lunch at the top of Taipei 101 today but there was no point because the view would have been non-existent! Oh well! I'll go for dinner instead and look at all the twinkly lights after dark.

Today I'm in Singapore and at 6.30pm it's still over 30c and not as humid as one would expect, although there's no trace of a breeze of any description. It's Thursday 22nd March.
