Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary] Posted Jan 22, 2004
Well, I made it. All the way to the end of the thread, from the orinigal "i want 2 cancel this account what 2 do", through the very cool surrealist stories and stuff, and then the entire process of the formation of the nighthoover religion. It took me a few days, and I have to say it heavily taxed my mind. Income tax I believe... incoming!------BANG!! But oh, you got it all wrong, it was the glass behind the refrigirator that was making that buzzing sound, and yesterday the cat went in there and we haven't seen it since. The garden looks especially lovely this time of year, doesn't it darling? I would have gone out there but somebody put those bars on all the windows. Would you like a drink?

Here's what the Babelfish came up with:
Owing to to the summer
Oh summer, it was beautifully with you,
much Freud and fun owes I to you.
The long days, short nights,
as if the luck with you would spend.
Now you must gehn, who autumn he approaches,
the forest in multicolored colors radiate.
Then it becomes grey and wet and coldly,
the earth rests, as more waer it old.
But one tune me correctly gladly,
because you come back - anyway.
I love it! Lift your steins!

A true penitent!
Bless you and welcome to the highest brotherhood and deepest sistern of the wholey ardor of nighthoover.
After your long exploration and discovery, you probably know more about nighthoover at this moment than most of us, so please forgive any who may appear to shy away from you.
It's not personal and has nothing to do with nighthooverism or even the anti-hoover; it's the question of expertise and someone-who-might-actually-know-what-they're-talking-about that makes a lot of people uneasy in religion and politics.

Praise be Yael for child, and as I have followed your progress, and taken somewhat of the blaime for much of the wholely inaccurate, or at least indescribable with random pieces of pizza sections, through your pilgramidge of the 'cancel' thread, you must indeed have harnesessed the entire essence of not only the small tin in teh cupboard to which no one yet lays claim, but to the esence of nighthooverism, the nighthoover, the path of the nighthoover and the nighthooverability of it all Lettuce spry for indeed, as the time catapulted after eight mint of desire, adopts the plantitive pose on the plate of its own creation, let not the hand with the dish cloth lay waste to all that the flowers have said, and in the words of their own kind, let their knickers raise high above the wasteline of the random, as such and thus proposed that therein as the esence of lemon, casts asunder the remoteness of classification of tomato, and neight their be lavender in that drawer, no, no, a myriad pitbull terrier cries for once the hat is there, and then it is gone, and so as such may remain that particular pond, enriched by the trees, oh yea

Can someone leave me a message filling me in on Nighthoover and why people revere him/her as some sort of prophet when all they did was ask if they could cancel their account?

Indeed brother, you read well, and are well read, and on such a matter sound advice is it that you said, for as we see the words, the enter thi heart, and afare the harpless oaf, athunder be cast, render those words, like those that be before, as dispensed as once the dust on the floor oh yea, for as a contorted sign does still show the way, then as such we know it is rong to hoover by day, for the light it is blinding, the heat too much to bear, and the darkness always looks best, for it reflects off my hair praise be

Yeah, a ruse by any udder name spelt just as sweet. Prays Nighthoover in all the nocturnal cheery pits, magnates of dustbunnies, dried foodstuffs, and all that is danderly. Prays the suckor, and yea verily the suckee. Lead us to right hooverly ways of antidiurnalistic attitude. Or altitude depending on height, of course.

Are we still here, or are we still not here?
Are we pontificating a perpensity?
or Pondering the prediciment?
Do we synically scrabble, or synically scrape?
is this the reality?
or what that be that it is it isn't tht it is? indeed, as we are, we are not.

And today, a bit of poetry.
Not mine, I'm sorry to say - it's by a Dadaist writer called Tristan Tzara (though his real name was Sami Rosenstein), back in 1917. It seems oddly fitting to this thread, being fittingly odd.
Unfortunately, some of the graphic aspect is lost - originaly every line is in a different font - but I believe the words are powerful on their own. Well, here it is:
