A major review of voting rules and regulations has led to the disqualification of the "half votes" which were previously cast in favour of George Formby and Liv Tyler. Should the researcher who cast the "half votes" (Caper Plip, Post 1294, May 10 2002) like to recast for a single candidate, then it will be included in the official count.

This has the added effect of making it much interesting now, as both Lady Scott and George Formby each have the same number of votes, and will hopefully lead to some major re-campaigning by these candidates.

Would it be possible to instigate a single-transferable-vote system? Proportional representation? Anything that allows Liv to come top?!

I really think we shoudln't discount anything at this early stage in events; Don't forget the former soviet union still has to cast its votes, and they generally follow block-voting .... Is block voting allowed?
And what of the union votes? are they in yet?
I still think, even at this early stage, all is so to speak still to play for... and the ukelally may as yet supprize us all George!

I'm Fluffy Pink Rabbit's campaign manager.
I wish he *would* fire me, but I can't find him. If I could, I would resign before he could fire me, but he would probably beg me to stay on, and I would be too wishy-washy to deny him. But if *you* would like to fire me, Happy Dude, that would be fine.

But I don't have a campaign to be the manager of. This is obviously something that I arranged the last time I was drunk. So far I've tracked down 8 women and a badger who claim I married them during that period.

I really have to stop getting drunk. Or remember who I've married. It took a few months, but I think I've finally managed to throw that badger off my trail.
