You're beautiful

Oog, this has got away a little.
I did actually mean physical beauty in people (sorry, should've said- obviously no one's as appearance-obsessed as I !) Although they're all very nice and evocative things that you've mentioned.
I'm interested in finding out what makes people attracted to others, in a physical sense (spiritual beauty apart, also personality.) Purely a superficial thing.

ok mandragora, since no one else has replied yet, i'll give it a go...
what do i find beautiful, physically, in people?
eyes... thats huge for me. blue is nice, but i am an absolute sucker for darker colors... brown, black, green.
dark, curly hair i also find is something that seems to get my attention... the more the merrier... (ok, so i'm the kind of person that would be married within a day of living in tuscany, so what?)

A nice tight pair of smooth round buttocks. And the eyes, of course...

The eyes have it
Also hands.
And hair.
(But not hairy hands )
And the play of muscles in the forearms of a guitar player.

Ugh Corinth, did you have to say that. With your age it seems a bit yucku.
Do you mean sexy or beautiful? To me with beauty it is the smile mainly.

Eyes, definately. Face-wise at least.
I really don't go for blue-eyes or blonde hair. Not necessarily together, but they're just not that striking, nor do they have depth.
Brown eyes, or green. Or eyes that change with the weather. Full lips (but not those with collagen implants, that's just daft.) Thick lashes.
As regards bodily perfection: a definite shape. For men, slightly soft, definately no hideous muscles which look about to erupt through the skin. Ick. Hidden strength, yes. Women: in proportion. It doesn't make any difference how thin/fat someone is if they have good ratios.
What has happened to bums- where's the attraction in a total lack of cushioning? And for that matter, where have waists gone?
Really striking colouring. In women particularly, mad Pre-Raphaelite red hair like the woman in the pomegranite picture.
Does anyone else find men's buttocks really bizarre?

This is a really tough one. There are obviously beautiful people. Then there are the people I seem to find attractive even though no-one else does.

What is it that you find attractive about them, but which no one else does?

In men: strong hands and forearms that look like they know work. That little line of fuzz that runs down from the belly button. Strong facial features. And dark untamed hair and eyes.
In women: A curvy figure that's neither too buff nor too flacid. An interesting face-- one that isn't too "perfect". Someone who isn't so put together with clothes and makeup that she has to watch everything she does.

Well, I wasn´t the one that asked Also does perky nipples come under beautiful? Isn´t that more under sexy or something? To me beautiful means somebody it is nice to look at, not necesarilly that I want to sleep with them. That is what sexy means.

To me, sexy is very beautiful, and beautiful is quite sexy, too.
