Everybody knows that the days of the week are ruled by gods/planets
(Sunday-Sun,
Monday-Moon,
Wednesday-Woten/Mercury,
Thursday-Thor/Jupiter,
Friday-Freia/Venus,
Saturday-Saturn)
but why is the day ruled by Mars (Mardi in French) called Tuesday?

The latin languages name Mardi after Mars. The Germanic language name Tuesday after the Norse God Tiw. Tuesday was "Tiwes Daeg" in Anglo-Saxon.

Gas appliances which do not comply with the relevent parts of BS 5258 or BS 5363, and oil-fired appliances with a surface temperature of the sides or the back in excess of 100 degrees C, need to be seperated from anything that might burn by a shield of non-combustable material at least 25 mm thick or an air space of not less than 75 mm.

they have turned off hte air conditioning in the tower to lay a floor....preventing glue fumes form affecting the whole building. As such it is now 30 degrees centigrade in our laboratory...again...
