I like really strong cheddars such as Krackerbarrel, Wexford, Dubliner and "Seriously Strong Cheddar".
I'm also fond of a bit of Wensleydale.

ok, so it's a bit of a dim question, but it's hardly spamming. In fact, i was just reading the paper when i came accross this article on cheese and in paricular Lancashire cheese.

Looked at in the context of Ask h2g2, I didn't think it was a dim question It's a lot more interesting than some.

Apparantly, there's a cheese festival held in Bra, Italy every autumn, where the cream of international cheese making meet..

If it's on toast, then Gouda.
Any halloumi fans out there, by the way? Now that's an unusual cheese - lovely grilled though

I like stilton and apricot. Dutch cheeses are nice like edam and gouda, but they are a little tasteless. Mozzerella is nice on salads.

Extra Mature Canadian Cheddar. Any cheese with a strong flavour.
I agree with the cheese on toast post, but not toasted cheese . Just hot toast and butter, with freshly sliced chhese. Oh! And of course it has to have marmite on . That goes without saying

Toast the bread on one side, spread marmite very thinly on the other side, put slices of cheddar on it, toast until the cheddar bubbles, then add a little bit of tomato. Delicious.

make your minds up. I've just posted an Ace Welcome on martifartfast's Space, and after reading post#4 I got a bit concerned and suggested some of their questions may be more suited to MiscChat.
Oh well, that's just Emmily, messing up as usual.
My favourite cheese Mild Cheedar.
Though I once had a bottle of wine and a cheese delivered from Natwest Bank after I had complained. That cheese was the best I've ever tasted, but I have no idea what is what called.

Really? What a cool vacation that would make! (And somehow, I don't think I'd have much difficulty convincing my better half to visit a city named "Bra", at any time of year. )
Welcome to h2g2, and thanks for the interesting questions!

I've never been to Bra, but the main square in Verona is called Piazza Bra, and I had a pizza in the Piazza once.

I'd probably have to say chedder is my favourate, as I certainly get through a lot of it, favourate chedder is unpasturised Island of Mull organic, but any good strong chedder, like the Canadian chedders are good I also eat probably as much brie as I do chedder, sliced thinly on toasted Pain o levain, or rye, or just French bread/baguettes Stilton would also have to be one of my favourates, they do a loverly unpasturised organic one over the road, which I can't for the life of me remember the name of Mozarella, buffalo mozarella is good too.... theres just so many differnet cheeses to choose from, and some are more suited to certain dishs etc.,
