Rockomondo!

That's genius! And apparently choreographed by my father.

Didn't their chosen entry get disqualified for blatant plagiarism? Or was that Albania?

Given that Sweden enter an Abba song every year, that seems unlikely.

Having acquired Digital since last year, I am considering a Post Double-Edition special including the Semi-final.

However, I'm not sure I can sit through that.

You're a brave man, B. Thanks for reminding me tonight will have to be my weekly "no-booze" night, as I'll definitiely need alcohol for the semi!

Party at mine on Saturday night: the theme is "Heaven and Hell-sinki". I'm going as a Hell's Angel. Suggestions for food and drink please!

A Finnish food night? Good luck.

My copy of Larrousse lists Finnish cuisine as including fermented vegetables (some sauerkraut, maybe), borsch, blinis (presumably withn caviar) and karjalanpiirrakka - rye pasties filled with mashed potato and served with melted butter and minced lamb flavoured with garlic and onion.

Failing that, fresh fish would seem to be the order. Plus, you could cheat, get a loin of venison (cf Gordon Ramsey last night) and pretend it's reindeer.

Nah, I've had Finnish food before - no thanks!

I was going to continue the Heaven and Hell theme and have angels and devils on horseback, devilled chicken wings, possibly Angel Delight and devils food cake....

Angel Cake and Angel's Food Cake

Something's gone wrong this year, I'm usualy working on Eurovision night and now they've got rid of the TV at work... Sill I'm sure I can watch the 3 decent episodes so far, that'll take a couple of hours

Dr Who got shafted because it's recorded and can be shown at a later date and Any Dream of Strictly Dancing on Greasy Ice is live and can't be put off
