What do you men look for in a woman then?
weegie Posted May 23, 2001
i'm a chick, couldn't really be arsed reading all the posts - go on ask me something?
hormones - its a horrible thing, and i don't think the boys really appreciate this point (and forgive if this has already been said b4, but like i said - i'm lazy) women KNOW where they're being hormonoly unreasonable. i've seen myself crying and shouting at the boy not wanting chips with his dinner or something - telling myself that's its rubbish to get so upset, but still not being able to stop myeslf or worst not knowing why i'm so upset ... weird... like literally being 'beside yourself' (one of my all time favourite phrases) but like the song says - sometimes its hard to be a wumin!
so what do men like? i've always thought real women - with breasts and nobbly bits, with a sense of humour and compassion and someone who'll tell them everything'll be alright when it all goes a bit pete tong.
what do women like - real men, not with breasts, but with nobbly bits, with a sense of humour and compassion and someone who'll tell them everything'll be alright when it all goes wrong
... just the same really but with different bits.

This conversation's moving fast , all of a sudden.
Please may I go back a few steps to the monthly cycle thing?
It is time that females and males reminded themselves of the up-side of the female monthly cyle. (From the male point of View). There is this period where a girl just gets horny and can be turned on if her bloke (or any other bloke handy) does something apparently insignificant like scratch his nose, sign a cheque, grab a beer mug. I call it the Titania syndrome (you know, Titania was given this potion so that when she woke up she fell in love with the first thing she saw). It can hit you suddenly and in any way. I once suddenly found myself drooling over a game show presenter just watching the way he held the cards with the questions on.
John Fowles explains the fantasies of the French Lieutenant's woman in this way, basing the story on a true case of a woman who had amazing fantasies and wrote very explicit letters - at regular four-week intervals. It's in the foreword, in case you haven't read it.
So don't forget that one when it comes round, you guys, and be ready with your pants down, or you might find she's run off with the man who sat next to her on the bus just as it overcame her.

That's funny that's how guys feel ALL the time.
Hey, that girl is eating ice cream, god I'm horny.
Hey, that girl is jogging, god I'm horny.
Hey, that girl is walking, god I'm horny.
Hey, that girl is laughing, god I'm horny.
Hey, that girl is breathing, god I'm horny.
Etc....

I'd really love to be able to argue agains Zorpheus - but i can't. I do think about sex A LOT, probably just about as men... funny not heard many men complain about it.

Godness, completely misread zorpheus and now i kinda think i'm confusing myself about my own gender... its okay i've checked - i'm a girl
Its not only guys who think about sex a lot (i hesitate to use the term 'all the time', i mean there's always other things ... like chocolate to think about) the ladies to do. have you heard a 'gaggle' of women get together and talk about guys? loadsa fun. bottle of wine (or your chemical of choice)groups of friends and you're laffing.
thank god, women can be just as crude and base as men (some times more)

Physical ones?
More women on my course than on many of the others at uni (though it's approximately a 50:50 ratio), that's what comes from going to a scientific university.
The dance club is another matter though...

For some reason, guys seem to think dancing should not be done without at least eight pints beforehand, hence not many turn up to classes and even then they don't hang around for very long. Girls on the other hand quite like it, possibly something about the pretty dresses and the chance to buy lots of new shoes (Not being sexist here, it's been the actual opinion of almost all of my dance partners in the last two years). The graceful movement to music might have someting to do with it though...
As a net result though, the guys that do turn up are vastly outnumbered and have to be shared around. Does wonders for your self esteem when women are clamouring to grab hold of you...
All the women are still techies though: mathematicians; physicists; electrical, civil, and mechancical engineers; as well as a few social scientists and linguists.
I do have a preference for women that can move well to music almost as a result...

Christ Almighty! I am staying underground for the rest of my life. I mean really...girls think about sex as well as chocolate? I mean who is trying to kid whom here?
If I give one of you guys a shopping list every couple of months would you do the honours? And maybe pop to MFI to buy me some wardrobes and stuff?
~ oh and a sub to Fiesta or something ~
