The Return of "What Music Are You Listening To At This Precise Moment?"

Just listened to The Automatic.
Now listening to QOTSA - 'Songs For The Deaf'
I love the way that searching for something such as 'Auto' in ya' MediaPlayer brings up loads on 'Automatics', some of which make you think, 'Ooh, I have'nee heard that in a while'.
In this case searching 'Auto' for The Automatic also yielded QOTSAs' 'Autopilot', which led to 'SFTD' being a mere click away.

Love in the garden - Baxter Drury.
If that surname sounds familiar.......yep, it's Ian's son. Same witty lyrics, wonderful tune, and spookily similar voice.

The Return of 'What Music Are You Listening To At This Precise Moment?'
STRANGELY STRANGE ( A brain on a spring ) Posted Nov 24, 2006
Just watched a 1979 Police concert from Hatfield Poly, which was part of the BBC4 Rock Goes To College series in which they show rock concerts from that time, which seem to be from the In Concert series from then.
It took me back to then when I saw them at The Nashville Pub in Kensington and took photos of the band. I used to sell a few pics to music newspapers so got there early to get in free and was invited to cafe across road with band. I think this was around 1976 when Roxane first came out and was near top of charts. They seemed OK sort of blokes and they paid for coffee!
What was interesting was I always remember Sting wearing this RAF type green flying suit and he was wearing it on TV programme.
The TV programme also took me back to when I used to see a lot of bands in polytechnics and the hall they played in looked just the same as all poly halls, same with the audience!
