Hi Blub
Yep, it’s from the soundtrack.
>>I recently learned that Vangelis was in a prog-rock band with Demis Roussos. I'm not sure whether my terror surpasses my intrigue or the other way round.<<
Right now, I’m listening to some very Brazilian music on Radio 1. Think it’s Gal Costa, but I’m not sure.

Oh my Bob! It's true! They were called Aphrodite's Child and they were very, very hairy!

Just an update from a couple of pages ago...The Libertines split (OK, Docherty left) and two new bands were spawned: Babyshambles (Pete Docherty) and Dirty Pretty Things (The rest of 'em). DPT's latest single is called Bang Bang You're Dead, and is pretty damn' good. I'll be seeing them at the O2 Wireless festival in June (I think they're doing most of the festivals this summer) so will know more about them after that.
NP: XTC, Easter Theatre.

Well, you won't know that until you listen to them, will you? They sound like REM would sound if REM were better than they are...and had merged with RHCP. And got someone who could sing and write good songs. But, being Australian, few people outside Australia have heard of them.
Ah well.

Australian eh? Maybe once they get released for good behaviour and come home they'll get discovered. After the obligatory stint at barwork.
Still listening to Tool's new album.

Taken from his latest album, Black Gold. I've heard it just a couple of times on the way to work and it's rather good
