Flies all green and buzzin...
I thought that was 'Where the Torchum Never Stops' Zappa used that fakey Al Jolson patois all through Thingfish; it's difficult to quote it without sounding condescending and prejudiced: "Since the nakkins be growin out of our heads, we be considered unsuitable for janitorical deployment..."
Right now I'm listening to Plant's 'Sneakin' through the alley with Sally...' great tune.

are they?
all the stuff I've got's on chapter22, Infectuous Records and BMG.
I think Clint Mansell (the singer) is in the States now, so he may well be, but I don't think the Poppies ever were.
They sound good. Check them out. If you're into your Nothing sound, then I recomend 'Dos Dedos Mis Amigos'.

yep, Trent Reznor is *the* man. I'm listening to one of his old buddies right now, Al Jourganssen (and Paul Barker). The sheer banality of Sunday Service on Radio4 made me lash out and put on...
