Snow Patrol are OK, Chili's have been poo since 1993, Foo Fighters are just what they are: thoroughly enjoyable teen rock, and all the better for it.

Seems a bit odd though, they are having a concert to save the planet, so have bands flown in from America, have thousands of people drive, etc to get there, use electricity to light building and run gear, use trees to make tickets, etc.

Not just that, but it might be full of old hippies wearing Patchouli oil, now that smell is real polution!

Speaking as an ex-hippie, I have to agree. 'Tis the smell of ghastly and no mistake.

I used to be a bit of an hippy myself, well what people would call hippies these days, long hair and flairs.
Reminded me of a line from a song by the Heavy Metal Kids.
"No daughter of mine is going out with an hippy, or a scruffy looking bleeder like you!"

I went from the first and am currently probably the latter. Still, I'm not too fussed about girls!
Currently listening to Brian May getting jiggy with his echo pedal in the Brighton Rock guitar solo on Live Killers. Class on a stick.

Mm. I bought a pot of 'oriental body spa', tempted by the mention ylang ylang and sandlewood on the list of oils it contained but a little sadly the patchouli is the overpowering scent my skin is left, err, scented overpoweringly of.
I'm listening to the "music" of political analysis on the Newsnight stream.
