Now I'm singing along to Princes Of The Universe. I am a Daemon Sultan I think it's allowed.

Argh! A Kind Of Magic is on the laptop and not this 'ere PC! I must remedy this forthwith! Wow, I can play air guitar properly now, with real guitars and stuff, rather than the battered hockey-stick/dressing gown cord combo I sported as a youngster.

Probably the greatest song ever - 'My Wife' by The Who.
Brilliant song, I recommend it.

I don't need to be
I'll keep slipping farther
But once I hold on
I won't let go 'til it bleeds'

I'm listening to Arcade Fire - Neon Bible - Keep the car running.
I've just recieved an e-mail invite to join in the celebrations to save the planet at 'Live Earth' or some such tosh.
Anyway. The headliners at this tosh-fest at Wembly are;
Madonna,Genesis,Corine Bailey Rae,James Blunt,Duran Duran,Damion Rice,Razorblight, Paolo nutini, and Keane.
You ask me the planet deserves everything it gets if this bunch of half-hearted wasters are trying to save it.

It's not the most inspiring line up. Especially not when you're looking at them from a couple of thousand people back.

How is their new album? I've had Funeral for a couple of years but haven't got round to buying the new one yet.

To me the new album sounds like good music mixed by a chimpanzee.

Ok, I was a bit sparing with the truth.
The Foo fighters, Snow Patrol, and the Chilies are going to be there too.........but, still.

Funeral IS better than Neon Bible, that's for sure. It's still pretty good though, and not as bad as some of the press has hinted.
Hurdy Gurdys!!!!!!!
