Leia did four-and-a-half years after Return of the Jedi according to Tim Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy (the books Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command). Mara Jade (whom we first meet in said Thrawn Trilogy) becomes Luke's wife fifteen years later. Mara is the only character in the Twenty Most Popular who isn't mentioned in the movies. Having said that, I would like to be informed on the occasion that you decide to do it, so I can hear for myself and start a copyright racket the moment you actually succeed in passing off as me. ...

Ioreth, you've been talking all seductively like ever since you came here. Just for the fun of it, would you go and get that roll of duct tape over there, take the end in one hand and the roll in the other,
unwind it a fairly long bit, grin very maliciously and then snap the tape taut like a whip you're about to crack? I think that might really get something going.
