I really hate it when you get a musical phrase going through your head and you can't remember what the rest of the song is

I just did some categorisation and so it's now the dreaded 'Kayleigh' - 'dancing in stilletos in the snow' is on continuous loop!

'All of my love, all of my love, all of my love to you'... the horror!
'I like Chinese' pops into my head a lot, and I don't even like Monty Python.

About a week ago I managed to get Samba Pa Ti out of my head. I was talking about this problem to a psychologist at work who was not aware that there had been research.
I even tried to remember how it went a couple of days ago but couldn't.
The b*st*rd song is back again.

Aaaaah, just when you think you got rid of it... I know how you feel, PP.
Now I have a Samba tune playing in my head, something by Jobim, in Portugese, no less...

Relax by Mika, I think it's meant to be a miserable song , but it always cheers me up , it reminds me that life isn't always as bad as you think it is!!
In other words it's a beautiful song!!

"I'm So Ronery" sung by Kim Jong-IL on Team America keeps echoing around my Frontal Lobes at the moment, and my Cerebrum keeps singing "Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road" by Elton John to itself for no apparent reason.

I've got band aid covers the bullet hole stick there right now, after trying to decide if I like Scarling. or not.

Yael Smith Posted Apr 12, 2007
Ugh, now it's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road here too, after it's been the annoying song by the Kaiser Chiefs<?> that my colleague keeps singing, which I was going to complain about but can't, as it's hidden behind Elton.
Ruby-ruby-ruby-ruby! Ahahahahahaaaaa....
Hate it! That's the one.

It is horrible...and in my head it segues to that wretched Chris de Burgh song that goes 'I am high-i-igh-i-igh on emotion' which it isn't a million miles away from!
Who'd have thought that was the direction they were going to take?
