It's already dark, and I'm tired of being stuck at the computer, working. At least I get to go home soon...

I have come to the conclusion that people in the North are more noisy than people in the South particularly after dark. After a party why do people when leaving wait until they are at the kerb to yell there goodbyes and make arrangents to see each other again?

I suppose so, but during the early morning hours it is irritating to be woken up by "Well, tarra, see yer Thursday or Friday, but I will deffinitely ring you maybe Tuesday or Wednesday evening after we get back from hurdling" or whatever

mmn, yeah, I guess it must be annoying when you're woken up by it. I never get woken up by it, because my house has soundproof walls, pretty much. But I can see where you're coming from.

Hey you will never guess what. The noises that I heard late on Sunday were the shouts of a man and a woman. Today the police came around because I may have heard a murderer shouting. I am sleeping with my windows closed I don't want to know what is going on outside anymore.

But how will closing the windows help? Then he'll just have to ring the doorbell so you can hear him shout!

If Cookeicate shuts her windows, she won't be able to hear a murderer shouting, so she won't have the police coming round. It does sorta make sense.

Hi Mal, and you thought you had problems with your neighbours. If they ring the door bell I won't hear them because I haven't got a bell.
